The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is excited to announce a new sponsor and new venue for its 2020 kids’ run. The Festival Foods Kids’ Run will take place on Saturday, May 16, at Capital Credit Union Park, home of the Green Bay Booyah.

Festival Foods has been a longtime supporter of the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon and is looking forward to presenting the kids’ run in 2020.

“The Festival Foods Kids’ Run is an excellent opportunity for families to spend time together and for kids to experience a fun fitness event,” said Mark Skogen, Festival Foods president and CEO. “We are honored to show our support for the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon by sponsoring the 2020 kids’ run.”

The Festival Foods Kids’ Run is a .2-mile run for children ages 10 and under. Participants will run along the warning track inside Capital Credit Union Park. All registrants will receive a medal, t-shirt, food and beverage. In addition to the run, the Green Bay Booyah will be hosting additional activities at the field for families to take part in. The run will take place starting at 9:30 a.m. with waves for each age group. Registration for this event is just $12.

“The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon takes pride in offering an event for runners of all ages and abilities and we are excited for the all-new format for the Festival Foods Kids’ Run. The venue change has allowed us to make the distance shorter and more manageable for this audience, which is primarily runners six and under. Additionally, spectating the event in its entirety will be possible from the stands within the ballpark, which is great for parents who want to see the action and capture the moment,” said Alissa Cotter, co-race director of the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon.
